Brief: To provide publicity for BBC 6 Music’s Weekend Breakfast Show Competition ‘This is Hard Choral’: a UK wide search to find the best kids choral version of a 6Music song.
Method: Vikki crafted a national press release on the competition, and also devised 6 regional releases to cover the compeition entrant’s areas.
Vikki photographed the final event at the famous BBC Maida Vale recording studios. The images were used on the BBC website and in the Yorkshire Post.
Vikki’s images of the presenter Natasha Desborough were used online and in The Independent.
Result: 500,000 readers of regional press, 10 pages of ‘Google’ searches, BBC radio and BBC TV
